The impressive Royal Palace of the Royal Family is truly a sight to behold. The grounds are guarded day and night as numerous break in via the moat have been rumoured (although all have been officially denied by the Castle residents and gaurds alike). The Currant Monarch of Hyrule is Queen Zelda.

An old village at the base of Death Mountain. It is the Hometown of Impa, and a former Sheikah Village. Following the extinction of the race, however, Impa opened it up to Hylians, who now make up the entirety of the population bar Impa herself. The town is still well known for ancient lore, however...Behind the Village lies an ancient Graveyard, Home to the dead Royalty of Hyrule. Ghosts can often be found here, and even more frequently in times of Trouble. There are rumoured to be secret passages under some of the graves, haunted by a former Gravedigger, and a 'Temple of Shadow' is said to lurk somewhere about - if you can find it...

An enormous area that can take days to traverse on foot. The fields stretch on for a long way, from the mountains in the north of Hyrule to the edge of the lake in the south, from the Lost Woods in the east to the burning desert of the west. The Fields join with most other areas of Hyrule.

This is where to go in Hyrule for horse racing or the famous Lon Lon Milk. Home to Malon and her family, her aging father Talon still officially runs his ranch, even though much of the work is done by his daughter's generation...

Lake Hylia was formed where to two rivers of Hyrule met. The combonation or melted ice of Zora River and the water of Gerudo Valley makes it's chemical propeties quite interesting. And as a result is studied. The water temple hides underneath the Lake.

A Fortress in the south of the Hyrule feilds, the walls bare a remarkable similarity to those of Lon Lon ranch - until you see the Moblins patrolling around them, that is. Hylian patrols remain vigilant, in case the Moblins try anything - even though Moblin activity around the land is reported to have dropped since the Fortress went up...

A range of hills stretching around the Southern edge of the Hyrule fields, the Southern hills have long been a refuge for those considered mosters by the people of Hyrule. Bokoblin Raiders, Moblin Tribes, Lizalfos Clans - All sorts of beast made these hills their home, squabbling amongst themselves and never presenting any real threat to the land.Until recently.Rumours have begun circulating of a General who has risen to command these scattered bands. A Mighty beast clad in Crimson Iron, it has bought terror to each group in turn, demanding that they fall into line and join the army it has gathered as if from nowhere... But is this mearly a myth, told by the suspicious farmers who border these lands?

A fast flowing river with lush surroundings. It flows through the area of land where the forest begins to thin out. A strange land formation along with a huge waterfall mark the start of the river.

Hidden behind the waterfall at the end of Zora River is a massive cavern where the Zora's live. Another entrance lies at the very top where Lord Jabu Jabu resides leading a path to the Ice Cavern

The remains of a glacier from the last ice age slowly melt. The water from here flows into Zora's Domain, Zora River and eventualy Lake Hylia. The ice cavern itself is relativly small cave of rock and ice. Many mysteries and legends surround the place.

A long underwater tunnel from Jabu Jabu's dwellingThe final settlement of the Zoras. During the tragedy that occured in Zora's Domain, a small group managed to escape to this long forgotton hideout. It exists in something of a cavern with sun pouring through the large opening at the top. The walls are rocky crystalic structures and the houses made of ice. Stairs run the perimetre, leading to a small shine at the top.

A stunning site to look at. Winding canyons, a huge waterfall and sheer cliffs make this one of the most spectaclar areas in all of Hyrule. The water from here is very pure as it has been filtered through many layers of rock.

A huge barren desert with scorching temperatures all year round. Navigation throughout this wasteland is extremely difficult with only flags and small building left by the Gerudos to get your bearing with.

A huge active volcano. Large cavities in the mountian give home to the Dodongo's Cavern and A Great Faery. Inside the volcano itself lies the Fire Temple.

A domain under Death Mountain - and also a province in Hyrule of the Underground land of Subrosia. It is rumoured that some other creatures created this place before the Subrosians arrived, however there was a war of conquest and the original inhabitants became extinct. Now only Subrosians live here.

Link's first home. A small forest town inhabited by the Kokiri children. The village is watched over by the Great Deku Tree Sprout which is growing rapidly.Life continues to infuse this place, it is said that none of it's Childlike inhabitants can ever die - as long as they remain within the forest...

A magical forest that warps time and space inside itself. The layout of the forest is contantly changing and the aura of the place makes it seem even bigger than it really is. Somewhere in this forest lies the sacred meadow and the Forest Temple
